On the brighter side, Christoph gets to review his favorite club VfL Bochum, who against all odds will play another year of top flight football despite a gruesome start to the season and a pretty small budget.

Raphael will take on VfL Wolfsburg's season, which took a dramatic downturn when they slipped out of the European Cup places by losing to already relegated laughing stock Hertha BSC. But outside of Wolfsburg, nobody cares.

Yes, great episode! The addition of Uli Hesse was an unexpected bonus. Parenthetically, regarding Marco Reus: yes, his best football is behind him, mainly due to the exhaustion of stamina. However his “football intellect” was plain to see on a number of occasions last year, in a 2nd half substitutes role. So his worth to the attacking mentality of BvB is still to be realized. Many thanks for your work, and to echo Rafa’s comment to Uli: good luck to all BvB fans on their recovery therapy. Prost.
